The term on the NBA 2K20 MyTeam virtual streets is that something is coming. Oftentimes the scuttlebutt that emits from the guts of NBA 2K MT the 2K community is much ado about nothing, but in this case, it seems they're on to something. If you have a look at the display pictured in this tweet from MyTeam YouTuber, DBG, you are going to see the brand new collection display for Spotlight Rewards has an open place for a"Missing Player."
DBG is already dropping the title Kawhi Leonard, and yet another hard-working, super diligent MyTeam content founder named SixthManSam, seems to be hoping for the exact same thing. He was all over Struck Denver's (another YouTuber) tweet featuring a fan-created Galaxy Opal Leonard card. As of now, the only Significant superstars in the history of NBA 2K who don't possess a Galaxy Opal at NBA 2K20 are LeBron James, Leonard, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Chris Paul, Bill Russell, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Jerry West.
2K was hinting at a major content release that is connected to the Galaxy Opal James Harden rewards card. To acquire the Harden card, you have to complete the Spotlight Challenges all. It is quite a grind contemplating there are 36 of these and each challenge requires one to play five games.
You can bet there's been an influx, if the Harden card is necessary to get the major prize in MyTeam. I've gone out on a limb and said that there will probably be yet another Bryant card. There was a modest Pink Diamond version earlier this week, released of the late Los Angeles Lakers legend. I'm prepared to wager that is just the start of the Mamba content.
The Mystery Player could be him, Owing to that, or possibly James, Leonard, or Olajuwon which may be required to unlock what characters to be a Galaxy Opal Bryant. While it's been almost a week since the Pink Diamond Bryant premiered, I'm still just as confident a virtually unstoppable Mamba is the prize at the end of this tunnel.
